A six-day itinerary through northern Sicily that combines iconic sites with surprising details. From the refined calm of Taormina to the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, passing through the lively markets of Catania and the Arab-Norman architecture of Cefalù. Palermo welcomes you with its charmingly chaotic rhythm, golden domes, and streets full of contrasts. The journey continues to the clear and wild sea surrounding the island of Favignana. A tour that immerses you in Sicilian culture, exploring both the bustling cities and the most picturesque towns.

Day #1: CATANIA AIRPORT – TAORMINA
Independent arrival at Catania Airport, car pick-up, and transfer to Taormina, the perfect first stop to begin exploring the island. The town offers a charming blend of history and modernity. After the visit, continue to Catania for overnight stay.

Day #2: ETNA – CATANIA
In the morning, depart for Etna Natural Park to reach the base refuge, from where you can take the cable car up to over 2,500 meters above sea level. On the way back to Catania, stop at one of the finest local wineries located on the volcano’s slopes. Return to Catania for overnight.

Day #3: CEFALÙ – PALERMO
After breakfast, depart for Cefalù for a guided tour of this first major Norman city. The majestic Cathedral is a clear symbol of the strong Arab-Norman influence on the island. In the afternoon, continue to Palermo and check in at the hotel.

Day #4: PALERMO
Full day dedicated to discovering Palermo, a city full of intensity and contrasts. Walking through its historic streets, you cross centuries of art and culture, from Baroque churches to bustling markets and noble palaces. The scents of spices and the chatter of the alleys reveal the city’s most authentic soul.

Day #5: FAVIGNANA ISLAND – TRAPANI
Early morning transfer to Trapani to board the hydrofoil to Favignana, a true earthly paradise. After a day of sea and relaxation, return to Trapani, where an evening stroll to explore the city is recommended.

Day #6: PALERMO AIRPORT
Check-out and transfer to Palermo Airport. Car rental return.
