NORTHERN SARDINIA TOUR

An itinerary through the north of Sardinia, where ancient villages and granite landscapes alternate with coves of turquoise sea. From the island of Asinara, a pristine natural paradise, to the Maddalena Archipelago, with its postcard-perfect beaches and unmistakable Mediterranean charm. Castelsardo and Santa Teresa di Gallura add a touch of history and tradition to the journey, completing the experience of a genuine and surprising Sardinia.
Day #1: ALGHERO AIRPORT – ALGHERO – PORTO TORRES
Independent arrival at Alghero Airport, collection of the rental car, and departure towards the Catalan city. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the cobbled streets of the old town and along the ancient walls overlooking the turquoise sea. Afterwards, continue to Porto Torres for overnight stay.
Day #2: ASINARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, embark on a trip to Asinara Island, an authentic natural paradise and a protected area of extraordinary beauty. Here, you can rent bicycles to freely explore deserted beaches, former prisons, and untouched landscapes inhabited by the white donkeys that are the island’s symbol. Return to Porto Torres in the evening and overnight stay.
Day #3: CASTELSARDO – SANTA TERESA DI GALLURA
After check-out, depart for Castelsardo, a charming medieval village perched above the sea, famous for its cobbled streets and panoramic views over the Gulf of Asinara. Guided tour of the historic center and the Doria Castle. In the afternoon, continue to Santa Teresa di Gallura for some relaxation on its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Overnight stay in Palau.
Day #4: LA MADDALENA ISLAND
In the morning, departure for an excursion to La Maddalena Island, the heart of the archipelago bearing the same name. This journey through turquoise coves and granite landscapes will reveal one of the most iconic places in northern Sardinia. Return and overnight stay in Palau.
Day #5: ALGHERO AIRPORT
After check-out, drive back to the western coast and transfer to Alghero Airport for the drop-off of the rental car.
