From dense forests to the rocks of the Lucanian Dolomites, and the millenary pines of the Pollino, here nature is not only to be admired but to be experienced step by step. It is a path that weaves together effort and wonder, leaving in the soul the authentic breath of the Southern mountains.

Day #1: NAPLES AIRPORT – SATRIANO DI LUCANIA
Independent arrival at Naples Airport, car rental, and transfer to Satriano di Lucania for hotel check-in. This small village, not far from Potenza, is known as the “village of murals” for the numerous artworks painted on the façades of the historic center’s houses.

Day #2: LUCANIAN APPENNINES NATIONAL PARK
In the morning, reach the Fossa Cupa area in the heart of the National Park for one of the most authentic and wild treks of the entire itinerary, accompanied by an expert guide. In the afternoon, visit a traditional farm where rural life still preserves the simple and genuine rhythms of the past.

Day #3: CASTELSARACENO – SAN COSTANTINO ALBANESE
After check-out, depart for Castelsaraceno, a village suspended between two national parks, the Pollino and the Lucanian Apennines. The village is also famous for hosting the longest suspension bridge in Italy. In the afternoon, continue to San Costantino Albanese, an Arbëreshë community that keeps alive the Albanian language and traditions.

Day #4: POLLINO NATIONAL PARK
The day is dedicated to Pollino National Park, the largest in Italy. After meeting with the hiking guide, proceed to the Sanctuary of Madonna del Pollino, the starting point of a trek leading to the area of the majestic Bosnian pines, the symbol of the park.

Day #5: CASTELMEZZANO – PIETRAPERTOSA
After check-out, head to the Gallipoli Cognato Regional Park – Little Lucanian Dolomites. Here, among the striking peaks of the “Little Dolomites,” stand two enchanting villages: Castelmezzano and Pietrapertosa, a perfect blend of nature and history.

Day #6: NAPLES AIRPORT
After check-out, return to Naples for vehicle drop-off and departure.
