Day #1: BARI AIRPORT – RUTIGLIANO
Independent arrival at Bari airport and transfer to Rutigliano for check-in at a typical local farmhouse.
Day #2: POLIGNANO – CASTELLANA CAVES
In the morning, departure for Polignano a Mare and a guided tour of the picturesque hometown of Domenico Modugno, with its spectacular views over the Adriatic. Next, exploration of the Castellana Caves, a karst complex extending over 3 km with caverns and stalactites. Before returning, a stroll through the village of Castellana, historically governed by abbesses.
Day #3: CONVERSANO – MONOPOLI – LAND OF OLIVES
The day begins with a visit to Conversano, home to an important artistic heritage showcased by the Romanesque Cathedral and the Castle, now housing prestigious art galleries. In the afternoon, continue to the beautiful town of Monopoli, with its historic center overlooking the sea. The day concludes among centuries-old olive groves in the Puglian countryside, with a tasting of the renowned local olive oil.
Day #4: ALBEROBELLO – LOCOROTONDO
The day begins with a visit to the famous town of the Trulli, a fairytale-like and unique place in the world. During the guided tour, you will discover the ancient construction techniques and the secrets of these characteristic stone houses. The journey continues to Locorotondo, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, where a wine tasting awaits with views over the Itria Valley. And after seeing so many trulli… why not spend a night in one of them?
Day #5: MARTINA FRANCA – OSTUNI
After check-out, depart for Martina Franca, the most Baroque town in the area, where you will visit a cloistered monastery that preserves ancient secrets linked to local Freemasonry. The final stop is Ostuni, the “White City,” whose whitewashed houses evoke villages in Greece and the Maghreb. The trip concludes with transfer to Bari or Brindisi airports.
