A 7-day journey through Salento and Puglia, exploring breathtaking beaches, historic villages, and authentic flavors. From the crystal-clear waters of Baia dei Turchi and Torre dell’Orso to art cities like Lecce and Otranto, this tour offers the perfect balance of relaxation and culture. You will explore marine caves, ancient farmhouses, and charming villages such as Specchia and Galatina, while enjoying local delights, including extra virgin olive oil and the famous pasticciotto. A journey through nature, history, and tradition, culminating in the magic of Ostuni, the White City.

Day #1: BARI AIRPORT – SAN FOCA
Independent arrival at Bari or Brindisi airport and transfer to San Foca for hotel check-in.

Day #2: BAIA DEI TURCHI – OTRANTO – BAUXITE CAVES
In the morning, head to southern Salento to enjoy a day on the white sands of Baia dei Turchi. In the afternoon, visit the historic fortress town of Otranto. Before returning, explore the fascinating bauxite caves.

Day #3: LECCE
Guided tour of Lecce, known as the Baroque city. Access to all the churches in the historic center is included. In the afternoon, visit an ancient farmhouse producing local goods and enjoy an olive oil tasting.

Day #4: CASTRO – ZINZULUSA CAVE – SPECCHIA
On the fourth day, travel to Castro for a relaxing morning by the sea. The rugged coastline is full of coves and caves, including the deep Zinzulusa Cave. Before returning, enjoy a Negroamaro wine tasting and visit the small but charming village of Specchia.

Day #5: GALATINA – GALLIPOLI
Day dedicated to visiting the noble town of Galatina, with its Orsini del Balzo family heritage, including the majestic Church of Santa Caterina. Continue with a tasting of the best Pasticciotto in all of Salento. In the afternoon, guided visit of Gallipoli, the city that for centuries controlled the global lamp oil market.

Day #6: TORRE DELL’ORSO
A full day of relaxation by the sea at one of Italy’s most beautiful beaches: Torre dell’Orso. Here you can admire the magnificent sea stacks of Salento.

Day #7: OSTUNI – BARI AIRPORT
Final day, check-out and departure for Ostuni, the White City. Here you will find all the features of a typical Apulian village—except for the sea, but you will have seen plenty during this trip. Arrival at Bari or Brindisi airport and vehicle return.
